HOW TO MAKE TANDOORI CHICKEN ON TAWA

 

TANDOORI CHICKEN
INGREDIENTS:

1.HALF A kg CHICKEN

2.GINGER GARLIC PASTE

3.KASHMIRI CHILLI POWDER - 1 tbsp

4.SALT

5.PEPPER POWDER- 1 tsp

6.CURD - 1tbsp

7.LEMON JUICE - few drops

8.OIL

9. GARAM MASALA- 1 tbsp

10. TURMERIC POWDER- 1tsp

11.GHEE - 1 tsp

METHOD ( MARINATION):
 
1.TAKE THE CHICKEN IN A CLEAN BOWL. AND ADD 1tbsp OF GINGER GARLIC PASTE.

2. ADD 1tbsp OF CHILLI POWDER AND GARAM MASALA.

3.ADD 1 tbsp OF CURD AND FEW DROPS OF LEMON.

4.ADD  1tsp OF TURMERIC POWDER

5.ADD 1tsp OF PEPPER POWDER

6.SALT AS PER REQUIREMENT.

7.MIX ALL WELL AND LET IT MARINATE FOR TWO HOURS IN THE REFRIGERATOR.

AFTER 2 HOURS

 METHOD ( COOKING) :
1. HEAT A PAN AND ADD 3 tbsp ADD OIL.

2. AFTER THE OIL  HEATS UP  ADD THE CHICKEN AND KEEP THE FLAME  AS LOW SO THAT THE CHICKEN WILL GET COOKED INSIDE AS WELL.

3.COOK UNTIL BOTH INNER AND OUTER LAYER IS COOKED WELL.

                                           
                                                                 FOR THE SMOKY FLAVOUR TAKE THE COOKED CHICKEN IN A BOWL AND PLACE A SMALL BOWL IN THE CENTRE. TAKE COAL AND HEAT IT WELL. AFTER THE COAL GETS HEATED PLACE THE COAL INSIDE THE SMALL BOWL AND 1tsp OF GHEE. YOU COULD SEE THE SMOKE COMING FROM THE HEATED BOWL. AS SOON AS YOU SEE THE FLAME CLOSE THE BOWL. AFTER 4 MINS TAKE THE CHICKEN WITH THE SMOKY FLAVOUR AND ENJOY!
